Barbara L. Bass, MD, RESD ’86, vice president for health affairs (VPHA) and dean of the PG电子游戏 School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS), is a widely respected leader in academic medicine, a surgeon, and a published author known for her pioneering innovation in academic surgery. At PG电子游戏, Dr. Bass leads the academic, clinical and research missions and provides strategic direction on all aspects of PG电子游戏’s medical enterprise, including the university’s relationships with the PG电子游戏 MFA and the PG电子游戏 Hospital.

The PG电子游戏 School of Medicine and Health Sciences is the academic arm of the PG电子游戏 clinical enterprise which is home to the university’s MD program and health sciences programs. The PG电子游戏 Medical Faculty Associates is a clinical practice organization with more than 2,150 employees. Its mission is to provide a high-quality patient experience and foster the wellness of our community.
